Audio – Video Editing Tools For Video Bloggers and Podcasts

Editing your Videos or Audio’s gives the final touch before publishing the content. From removing the blank spaces to leveling for the right audio levels, if you wish to have a studio quality Audio and Video – Editing with the right tools is a must. For me ease of use and features are the most determining factor in deciding the one. I prefer the Adobe Creative Cloud as it offers me access to all the rich media creating tools at one stop and also not bothering about upgrades or obsolete software. It comes at an affordable price tag of 29$ per month.

Another  great tool is Camtasia from TechSmith. Camtasia offer a very easy to use interface and offers great tools to make your Audio-Video presentable with studio quality effects.

Here’s a small list that I’ve sorted out.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud

    Adobe Creative Cloud is a one stop solution for all your media editing tool.  With one subscription of $20 per month you get access to tools like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition and other tools. Adobe Premiere is one amazing tool for editing your videos. You can use Adobe Audition for your Audio editing needs, coupled with Photoshop, Illustrator and the rest this becomes one powerhouse of tools.

    The new Adobe mobile apps extend the power of Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro to your devices. Go out and capture inspiration. Sketch and draw. Create layouts. Edit photos and make videos. You can subscribe to the Creative Cloud for $29/month and always have the most current software.

    Great tool for leveling and noise reduction. Auphonic is free for 2 hours of monthly processed audio. You can add an intro or outro to the recording, fill out metadata information, select a specific file format that you want the processed audio file to be made available in, add chapter marks, and add services such as Dropbox, YouTube, Archive.org or (S)FTP to export or publish the file directly to those platforms or storage locations. There is an Android app and one for iOS that has a recoding function. They do have a desktop app for sale, but you might not need it.

  • Candidio

    If you dont want to get into the hassles and technicalities of Post production video editing then Candido can help you with the job. Managing every part of your video productions in one place means more videos faster. It’s like your video production hub! Editors will get your edited video back to you in 5 business days or less.

  • Audacity

    It’s not high-tech at all, you can use the free Audacity for editing. No need to complicate things, and it’s super easy to use.

  • Levelator

    An oldie but still the best at what it does. It’s a super-simple, no-configuration-needed, drag and drop app that automatically adjusts the audio levels for your .wav files. Think of it as an auto compression, normalization, and limiting tool. It does all that and more – and is much simpler to use than trying to do that individually in other software packages. It is no longer being supported or updated, but the last version (released in 2012) still does a great job.

  • GarageBand 

    GarageBand is a whole music creation studio right inside your Mac — with a complete sound library that includes software instruments, presets for guitar and voice, and virtual session drummers. An intuitive interface makes it easy to learn, play, record, create, and share your hits worldwide.
